Dr. Lokar is a licensed Orthodontist in the State of Michigan and has been practicing in SE Michigan for over thirty years. He graduated from University of Detroit with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree and was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Dental Honor Society). He earned his master’s degree in Orthodontics during a two year residency program at Loyola University in Chicago and again graduated with honors.

Over the past 30 years Dr. Lokar has excelled as a practitioner, inventor, innovator, lecturer, and writer in the field of modern orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Lokar currently maintains a position as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the University Of Detroit Mercy Dental School in the graduate orthodontic program.

While concentrating his efforts on treating patients throughout southeastern Michigan, Dr. Lokar is also teaching and completing his term on the board of the Michigan Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Lokar has been highly sought after as a lecturer throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He speaks frequently to other orthodontists around the globe on the latest technological advancements in patient treatment, many of which he has helped to develop.
